Product Description

Bauera rubioides – Rose Heath - White Flowering form.

White downward facing flowers to about 2cm across are seen at various times of the year, often in profusion. The flowers are very attractive and well known among native plant enthusiasts and are most suitable for the vase. The plant grows to about 1.5 metres high and wide but this is variable. Most soils are suitable but this variety does prefer an acid soil. Full sun is tolerated but part shade, particularly from the summer afternoon sun is preferable. Well-watered plants will look heathier and produce more flowers but dry conditions can be tolerated if not prolonged. This species occurs naturally in large areas of eastern Australia but adapts well in many other areas including alpine zones. This white form of Bauera is a beautiful plant that looks great in native themed gardens and rockeries and can be trimmed as a hedge or to promote more prolific flowering.

Remember to buy plants in 4's. You can choose any combination of varieties. As long as you end up with 4 or 8 or 12 etc. Our plant shipper cartons carry 4 plants. Sorry we can't supply 3 or 5 or 11 etc..
